Putnam County residents Hong Ru Lin, age 50, and Kena Zhao, age 45, both of Putnam Valley, were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 14 for allegedly running a prostitution business out of numerous massage parlors in Putnam, Westchester, Queens, and Manhattan, the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York announced.

A Hudson Valley man faces charges after assaulting his wife two times in less than a week in front of their young children, police said.
Putnam County resident Hussein Kaddour of Putnam Valley, age 39, was arrested on both Thursday, July 6, and Thursday, July 13 for allegedly striking his wife, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday, July 17.

Support Pours In For Fiance, Daughter Of 23-Year-Old Mahopac Man Killed In Crash
Support is pouring in for the fiance and daughter of a 23-year-old man who died after a two-vehicle crash in the region.
Bryan Tumolo, of Mahopac, was killed in Putnam Valley around 8:55 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27 on Wood St., according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
Tumolo leaves behind his fiance McKayla Gordineer and a young daughter.
