It happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at an apartment complex in Hartford.
The two victims in the incident at 94 Hendricxsen Ave. were found in a stairwell and later pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital.
They were identified as Lavante Brown, age 19, of Hartford, and Aydin Davis, age 16, of Bloomfield, according to NBC Connecticut.

Police are investigating an accident that occurred when two teenagers’ jet skis crashed into each other at a Long Island beach, sending one to the hospital.
The incident occurred on Sunday, June 25 at approximately 12: 46 p.m. in Point Lookout, Nassau County Police reported.
Two teenagers, aged 15 and 16, were riding jet skis in the Jones Inlet when they suddenly collided with each other.
The 16-year-old victim suffered a compound fracture to his leg.

A Long Island teenager was reported missing after not returning home from her high school, police said.
Na’imah Guillard, aged 14, was last seen at Baldwin High School on Friday, June 2, and was supposed to return home that afternoon, according to Nassau County police.
Guillard is described as being around 5-foot-3 and weighing approximately 130 pounds.
She has black and red highlighted hair, a slim build, and a medium complexion.
The teen was last seen wearing a black tank top, black backpack, and gray shorts, authorities reported. She doesn’t have any known destinations.

Boy, 17, Stabbed Outside Philadelphia High School: Police
Philadelphia police are investigating after a teenager was stabbed outside a public high school on Friday afternoon.
Authorities were called to Parkway West High School, 4725 Fairmount Avenue, around 2:35 p.m. on May 26 for a reported incident, the department told Daily Voice.
The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was found to have one stab wound to the "right buttock," police said. Officers took him to Presbyterian Hospital where he was placed in stable condition, they added.
